    having seen a friend cross(without looking) at ladywell from the high street to go towards london road, and get knocked down, and seriously injured, andsince sadly died, I often wonder why people at that crossing don't look behind them at traffic coming from that direction and turning right into ladywell.

    thats abad corner, as is the one at bridge street where i have seen so many near misses.
    usually because peestrians just cross without looking.

    often it's not the car drivers fault.
