Lesley and myself only help out on some events and even then Lesley does alot more then myself, but most of the real work is done by Pat,Lis,Ant,and Allan, and the rest of them and they have been doing it for years ,six days aweek and up to about 80hours some weeks and they do not get paid one penny, they will not say it but I will the mill needs alot more support or one day we will see it closed up, the River Parish Council needs to support it alot more then it does with funding and also we need alot more support from the public, if they do not get more funding in soon it could close,a lot of work is needed to be done both inside and out but the mill do not have the funds to do that work so there you have it use it or see the locks put on.Just take this weekend the Mill sold about 61 maps at a pound each that goes to the Parish council, but it only got in £21 for Teas etc and that is for the Mill, the mill needs a turnover of well over £200 perweek in the summer weeks to stay open, if it was not for the events that Pat etc do the MILL Would now be closed.
