    having gone into this a little more,
    it appears it went through committee as some labour cllrs didn't turn up.
    it got to full council where all 18 cllrs turned up.

    Lamoon (who is not known to be a labour supporter) pushed the motion, if nothing else at least the tories/indies are challenging labour.
    Although with Dover in the state it's in, I hope thet are going to look for bigger issues than whether or not to wear a robe.

    Listening to those present it appears also that it has again called into question the democracy of the labour led council.

    Some independents asking to speak on the motion and being denied whilst one labour guy spoke three times.

    I hope DTC can look into the bigger issues of a declining Dover and even work together to achieve
