outside the yacht club, wonder what the works will entail?
we seemed to have varying views on what improvements could be done for road safety and parking a while back on here. - 28 January 2011 17:3490545Could be something to do with the Cycle track as they are digging up Buckland Avenue at the moment and moving down that way,get on your bike Howard,Vic welded it so you are ok.

- 31 January 2011 18:3790879I've checked with Kent Highway Services and they advise that there are no works planned for Marine Parade during this period. I became suspicious when I saw the start date of 8th March as it is a Tuesday and it is normal for works to start on a Monday.
It does seem to ring a bell from last year but where the sign has suddenly come from is a bit of a mystery. - 31 January 2011 18:4890880sounds like a jolly jape nigel, possibly the sign was dumped locally then someone found it and put it out to wind people up.
the sign was there for at least a week before i photographed it.
i reckon that was for the promanade works from last year.
