This was always bound to cause problems with people having to go online to check their status.

Dont know why they did away with the old system with the paper disc,it was much better although still a rip off when you look at the state of our roads.

When you do report a car with no road tax nothing is done about it. There is a car in my street which has been there sing august time & has not moved, I reported it to the council as a dumped car, they wrote back & said that the car has no road tax but the car is locked up & parked properly & one of the back tyres is flat,& they will keep an eye on it,but as yet nothing has happened. So I contacted D.V.L,A but they have never got back to me. We all pay our road tax why should these people get away with it.

I contacted the council again about the car above ,& they have told me that they have had several looks at the car & apart from some minor damage it is about the same as last time,But they have been in contact with the D.V.L.A but they will not do anything about it until early January I wonder what takes so long, most cars get taken away after a few days.
The trouble is that it is taking up a parking space & at this time of night parking is a problem,

Been said before, but here goes ; we have a council that doesn't care about the town, too busy serving interests other than those of there wage payers, they'll happily slap fines on people for dropping a fag butt, but they can't fine you for removal of a vehicle that is parked legally, DVLA would get the fine for no tax, so our council won't gain thus won't bother there arses.
