It was interesting to see whilst I was in Belgrave Road, a road sweeper!!! Howard is that regular? it's first time i'v spotted one there.
Since 1999 never seen a road sweeper in my road, surely it could be more fairly done? surely we allhave a right to have a road sweeper rather than all day in town and none in my road

Not on a regular basis Keith, normally only when Peter Wallace or myself has contacted DDC about fly tipping or a general mess. Nowadays I just send a photo to Customer services as the form from waste services for reporting fly tipping is so complicated and you have to give a house number which is not much use if the mess is in an alleyway.

The last time I visited this issue I understand it is all done in zones and if you bother to ring up.
The Towns get daily sweepers all day
side roads off the Folkestone Road not included in any plans unless you moan then you get a one off sweeper if your lucky

I think theyve taken on some new ones as there seems to be more around than there used to be.
