Yes this seems to be a big push by KCC to increase safety on the roads..something that is very close to Nigel's heart, as are all things to do with the Queens Highway. They want to point out that speed kills, particularly inappropriate speed in inappropriate urban locations.
The simulator could be fun.

indeed susan , it is abundantly clear that a minority of motorists are not clued up on the rules or choose to ignore them.
it is generally accepted that exceeding the speed limit on dual carriageways and motorways is less dangerous than someone doing a perfectly legal 30 m.p.h on a side road when weather conditions are bad or when schools are chucking out.

They know the highway code but do not adhere to it, like so many other laws.

lol!! Them phones get ever smaller...have you noticed who that celeb is lurking in the background in the same picture?? ColetteB took that one, threw a net over several 'names' at once.
Yes they should be setting up as we speak. Hopefully they will get the safety message out. I have noticed personally that across the county there seems to have been a whole spate of nasty motorbike accidents so like they say...every little helps.

Your right there PaulB and noticed Terry lurking in the background, lets hope today goes someway to getting out the message that speed does kill, I myself love speed but am sensible enough to know you do not put peoples lifes at risk by driving carelessly.

nigel was saying that a few people thought that they would get better marks than they actually did.
I got 86% the same as are firemen but the wife still thinks she is a better driver than me, these women are so deluded of course men are better drivers we don't have to do our hair or put on lip stick when we stop at the traffic lights. Now I'm leaving the country.
