Howard old fruit, the numbers switching from car to bike will be countable on one hand that's missing a number of digits.

The Park & Ride in Canterbury is an excellent service (always use it when goign there), but, there are at least two car parks in the cetnre of the city and bus lane in absolutely the wrong place. Despite thousands using the P&R though, the city is ioften gridlocked, proving folks won't easily switch from using their cars. But, why hasn't Dover attempted to introduce a P&R scheme? I suspect the answer is parking revenues.

The PC element is politicians and the media being anti-motorist; it now seems the UK has decided to attack and tax the driver now that smokers are getting less by the day either through giving up or snuffing it and alost anything which makes life harder for the vehicle user is welcomed.

Maybe one day the silent majoirty will speak up; I live in hope!
