Temporary Road Closure - East Cliff, Dover - from 5 August 2011
It will be necessary to close East Cliff, Dover from 5 August 2011 for up to 4 days.
The road will be closed between numbers 48 & 54.
There is no alternative route.
East Cliff will cease to be One-way during the road closure to allow limited access up to the point of closure from either direction.
The closure is necessary to enable duct installation works to be carried out in the carriageway by Carillion Telent working with BT Openreach.
Temporary Evening Road Closures - Bridge Street, Dover - from 9 August 2011
It will be necessary to close Bridge Street, Dover northbound from 9 August 2011 for up to 2 evenings, between 7.00 pm and 10.00 pm.
The northbound carriageway of Bridge Street will be closed at the junction (traffic lights) with A256 High Street, so that there will be no access from High Street or Tower Hamlets Road into Bridge Street (towards Frith Road).
The alternative route is via A256 London Road, Cherry Tree Avenue, Barton Road and Frith Road.
It is planned the works will be carried out between 7.00 pm and 10.00 pm each evening, with the road re-opened outside these hours.
Southbound traffic from Bridge Street into London Road and Tower Hamlets will be unaffected.
The closure is to enable works to be carried out to clear a blocked duct in the carriageway by Carillion Telent working with BT Openreach.
It is necessary to close Victoria Park, Dover planned for 2 August 2011 for up to 5 days.
The closure is between the junctions with Laureston Place and Castle Hill Road.
The alternative route is via Laureston Place and Castle Hill Road.
The closure is to enable carriageway surfacing to be carried out.
The works are weather dependent and may be affected by adverse conditions.
