20:0594045over the last 10 years deaths and serious injuries have halved on kent's roads.
no indication of what was responsible, could be many factors.
1)speed cameras
2)more considerate driving
3)safer cars
4)less drink driving
trouble is the situation on the above is much the same as 10 years previously.
any ideas?

phil mentions the doubling of traffic, could it be that speeds are lower because of this so any collisions are less severe?
