  All rather sad that their funding only comes from donations and nothing from public funds. Lifeboats are built with a double hull hence they are unlikely ever to sink unfortunately some go beyond the call of duty like the Penlee lifeboat all those years ago and ended up being swept on to the deck of the ship whose crew they were trying to rescue.
