It is Karen and my intention this Christmas day to provide a Christmas lunch, present and Christmas tea to all those elderly of Dover who will be alone on that day at their own home.
To achieve this we need many volunteer drivers to make the deliveries and perhaps some to assist in the preparation.
Should any Forumite know of someone who would like to receive one of our Christmas dinners and not be aware of our intention please let me or Karen know either by text(07778485357) or at The Riverside Centre(207268)

Preparations are well under way for this venture. Thanks to the generosity of The Town Mayor and 3 of his as yet unknown colleagues we are halfway to raising the funds for the day, which means we won't have to ask the recipients for a contribution.
We will be providing a dinner, tea and a gift at their home. If anyone has something they would like to donate as a gift it would be warmly welcomed.
We will soon be advertising for drivers to give of their time on Christmas day to help deliver the meals and have the joy of making someone very very happy.
