  In places the Dour is a disgrace, to much vegetation in some places, by the side of Morrisons, trees growing in the river to many rushes, weeds etc, catching all types of litter, and also a lot of the water, in the 80 years of my life I have never seen this area that bad, even when the Engineering works was there you could always see the river.
  With the loss of the mills and their water wheels came the downfall, such a shame
