A sad loss . He used his fame and fortune to help others maybe those that clamour for celebrity status today on countless mindless programmes would do well to follow his example.

As Marek said, there's many a so called celeb. that could follow his charity works, he raised over £40 million - not many can say that.

i always remember jimmy saville and his connection with dover
1994 and the first tour de france came up folkestone road on the way to brighton and in the lead standing in a car was jimmy saville anyone got the photo,s of this
and anymore connections with dover ? anyone got family who is connected with his excellent fix it show from the 80,s ?
