It is sad to see another of the local villages fighters
Lawrence has passed away .
Although in the same party we had many discussions and certainly he fought for his area .
Fighting for the village and being representative for the NUM
Lawrence was polite but always vocal
He will be sorely missed by the village and local politics in general
Other areas I'm sure can learn a lot from these villages where we see people like Lawrence fighting for the village .
RIP Lawrence

Yes he did speak his mind .I found all Councillors for Aylesham fought for their community.

Lawrence was Aylesham & NUM through & through. I admired his determination & persistence in his causes. He was obviously not of my political inclination but was a nice man , fair in debate & had a good sense of humour. I enjoyed his company & we got on well away from the political fray. He adapted well as Aylesham has expanded & took advantages of community benefits from the new developments. He will be missed as a respected community Leader. RIP.
