1. Because they forgot that there was a bank holiday.
2. Because they have forgotten what day bin collection falls on.
3. Because they have forgotten what day it is.
4. Because they are generally forgetful.
5. Because they are stupid.
6. Because they just don't care.

7. Because they like to deliberately annoy their neighbours.

Bank holidays are irrelevant except at Christmas. Perhaps they just do it when they remember it

A wiser person than me once remarked that bins were rather like farts. You could find your own quite interesting, your neighbour's could be quite annoying and a what went a few streets away was of very little interest at all.

Nobody seems to care about the important things in life anymore Sue; it's all Brexit, Referendums,
wars and Glastonbury............it didn't even get a mention in the Queens Speech yesterday.
Perhaps if that bin laden bloke had got into number 10 it would have lifted the lid on the problem and become a priority.

Don't have that problem in my road but Clarendon street is a nightmare with bins blocking the pavement and purple bags put out so that the foxes and gulls have a day or so to tear them open and spread the contents everywhere.

I sympathise with residents who have to have their bins outside their properties but where I live I'm fortunate as I.keep my bins in the gararge. They go out afte 7.00pm and I put them back when emptied tomorrow Friday.I do leave my green bag outside of my garage as my sons or someone brings it from my back garden As it gets heavy. If not I have to drag it to the kerb myself

Some people have too much time on their hands.
Perhaps they should all get together and clear Barton Path.

They've mostly retired on here Christine and have earned the right to use their time as they like. It's the one's that use time, whilst they are earning ('working'), to post on forums who could show their true commitment by volunteering their services.

Bob. ,bin is out before 7,30 ?The ridiculous thing is the resident in question stands waiting for the bins to be emptied on a Friday and before refuse cart is out of the road he races to put nearly all the bins back .Mine and my neighbours are left.i could be out all day but mine is left ,however one friendly neighbour does put mine back if he is home.
None so queer as folk.
