07:4271552Some things in life sound rather amusing at times, even though they should be taken seriously. I found a news item on yahoo this morning, about a zoo keeper in Austria who`s been growing cannabis plants in part of a rhinocerous enclosure, part of which is out of bounds to the public, and he was the only one who had access to that part, for obvious reasons. He was selling them to various client`s. After a tip off, police turned up at the zoo and discovered them. The news item merely states that the zoo keeper was sacked from his job. Not the first time I`ve found an unusual story about growing these illegal plants, and maybe you may have your own?

18:5071606I worked for a well known Government department back in the day. One of our offices had a couple of plants growing in the garden. An old security guard kept telling anyone that would listen that the tomato plants weren't doing very well this year as they had no fruit and we ought to feed them!

19:0071610When I was on the Town Council I found A cannabis plant growing in my Garden,at that time I did not know what it was ,so I call in amate of mind to tell me what it was,he told me it was a Cannabis plant .also told me not to worry he would take it away, about a week later he came up to me told me he had dryed it out and it was the worst smoke he ever had.
Also it did find its way into the local papers then, and no it was not me who told them.

12:2871660When I moved into my new home (not this one), I found a lovely pot plant growing in the conservatory. Fortunately, my father who was a policeman was helping us to move in. That's right, it was cannabis. I can't think why they left it.
When I first started getting so much pain from my arthritis and no amount of painkillers seemed to help, I managed to get hold of 4 spliffs. Feeling exceedingly guilty and a bit daring (I was 60 at the time!) I duly trolled home with them. As I drew up in front of my house, I was confronted by about 3 or 4 police cars, and police in what seemed like dozens, carting trays of cannabis plants out of a house further down the road. Guess what happened to my spliffs? Well, I'll tell you that they did not go up in smoke

18:3871711well... my dearest Nan if you ask her... thinks that the Maple Leaf infact has 7 points... she went on holiday to Canada and came back with a tshirt she told us was a maple leaf... well all of the family looked at each and burst out laughing.. only she would bring back a cannabis tshirt.. and it was all multi coloured as well...!!
And then whilst celebrating her 40th wedding anniversary in the garden with all the family, friends and people from the village all there. The local bobby clocked that she had a cannabis plant in the garden.. chuckled... removed it and took it back to the station for removal.. she had taught him, so he knew she had no idea!!

19:2271728Jeane, I`d have thought a quiet, secluded graveyard would be a nice place to grow a bit of cannabis. Have you ever found any, or would you recognise it? I know I wouldn`t.
