Great place for foot passengers. I used to love the restaurants and bars in the old town when P&O Normandy Ferries were in operation.

Much nicer place to visit than Calais and there is not that long traipse from the port to the town. Whether a service is viable in these days of super ferries is open to question but if successful both of the towns would benefit.

I used to love my day trips to Boulogne courtesy of Sealink, especially as they were all free, the free trips to Calais were never as enjoyable.

Dover - Boulogne ferry? It's not going to happen.
Leaving Restaurant 'le Chatillon' gloriously free of UK riff-raff when I sail over.

Haven't been there for years, superb seafood and service.
Need any crew?
