  Today I had lunch at the new facility The Carpathian having heard so much about it .I found the meal was excellent and well presented .Two courses for £5.50.I alao made a pig of myself and had a dessert.,which added on to the £5.50
  
  When I walking back to Town Centre I spoted a couple of tourists I enquired as to whether they were looking for some where to eat .They were so i pointed them into the direction of the above mentioned facility .
  
  I have found a new job .Meeter and greeter ?

  susan, i seem to remember you denigrating the new restaurant as yet another fast food cafe.

  Were there many in there Sue ?
  
  It is a good restaurant and they are trying to make a go of it, but it is a struggle for them.
  
  £5.50 is very good value and the food makes it well worth it too.
  
  Sunday lunches are good too as are their evening meals.

  We went there one evening last week. Granted it was Thursday and only 7pm but we were the only ones there. That is until an old(er) couple walked in, demanded and got the lunchtime menu!

  I think that's sad Terry - and wrong of that old couple, they knew it wasn't lunchtime, so it's unfair to ask for the lunchtime menu; a bit like asking for Sunday roast on a Wednesday.

  I suppose Roger that the Carpathian worked on the principle of even a small sale is still a sale. I must admit that I wouldn't have the cheek to ask for it.
