Elect the leader of the Free World..
The frantic last day of campaigning goes on, polls still showing it is neck and neck, still all going down to the wire. A width of a sheet of toilet paper lies between the two protaganists..yes the difference is that thin !! And we all know how thin toilet paper is these days.
Polls are showing Obama is slightly edging it, but the big problem for Obama is voter apathy. Research tells us the black and hispanic voters generally vote Obama's way, hardly a surprise there, but further research also tells us that these are the group least likely to go out and vote. The last time during that amazing election, all peoples everywhere were motivated by a fantastic Blair-like surge for Obama, but as we all know being sanctified prior to being elected is not terribly ideal, as the hero soon gets toppled of that sanctified pedestal.
But does Obama still retain some of that glorification, still retain some of that noble surge...if he does he will get the black vote out and win through. But there's the doubt.
The Republicans on the other hand are a very committed bunch. Look at that Tea Party motivation..its ferocious furious scary and determined all at once. Very likely to go out and vote and of course entirely likely to vote for Mitt Romney. Pundits are saying that it is now at this point about each side getting their own people out to vote ...as it is all so very close. A guy here, a guy there, staying at home could make all the difference.
So will it be a hawk or a dove?
