    Romney`s running mate threaten`s ``Medicare``.

    Romney`s presidential election campaign has been placed on the defensive over

    proposals by Ryan to ``Reform`` Medicare the popular healthcare programme that

    has become `the`hot election issue.

    Democrats think they are on a winner by claiming the republicans will spell the end of

    Medicare....

    ......just like Labour did with the NHS........

    Romney is obviously not as devious as Cameron who just denied he would change the

    NHS..........

    Romney has repeatedly declined to back Ryan`s Medicare reforms where as his

    advisors have gone on TV to say publically he would endorse them if elected.

    ...........sound familiar ??

    ....the Politico website quoted unnamed party activists were concerned about Ryan

    being picked and in particular the Medicare issue...they said it could be a defining

    moment in the campaign.....
