What a shame. I witnessed a low pass from a Vulcan at an airshow at Biggin Hill many years ago and it was breathtaking, with the ground trembling and kids crying.
Keeping to the aeronautical theme, we were driving back from Deal yesterday when a Hercules flew past low and slow along the seafront just out to sea in the direction of Dover. It must have flown up and down the coast more than once because as we got back to Dover and were driving along the road behind the Castle, it was banking over the Eastern Entrance and returning in the direction of Deal.
