Keith - you and your reference to 'working man' is typical old fashioned and divisive old Labour speak.... It was a daft expression in the 70's and is even more so now.

The Unions were as big a menace to your 'working man' as to the econonomy and the public as a whole, overmighty and irresponsible, bringing them back to reality was one of Mrs T's greatest achievments. Your minimum wage has created a 'norm' that is holding down many people's income but then keepiong people poor, on benefits and dependant upon benefits is in the political interest of the Labour Party.

Right to Buy allowed people who never thought they would ever be able to own their home to buy and was a great leveller that transformed many estates for the better.

If we are heading back to Victorian days (utter nonsense but you said it) then that is down to the Labour Government that has been wrecking the economy over the last 12/13 years.

    There, thats for starters......
