Sad news: I hear that our old DGSB headmaster, RC Colman, has passed away.
Rest in peace, Mr Colman. You ran a great school. Thoughts and prayers with your family.
Andy, Chris and Nick Stevens (three of your DGSB alumni).

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

He was my head master whilst at DGSB.
Didn't see much of him until he became my History O Level teacher in the lower 4th.
We spent most of that school year on our own, often in his study. On one occasion we were sent out onto the playing fields picking up litter!
Mr Manners became our history teacher the following year and managed to get us through the two year course in one year.
