    It is a shock and more so for the chap's family of course; very sad indeed.

    We were there about 2ish and strolling along the seafront, seeing all the smiling, happy faces, you'd never know this had happened so shortly before-hand.
    Hope it doesn't stop future power-boat racing.

    It was amazing to see so many people down on the seafront; the stalls were very good and varied, you'd never think there was a recession on - "recession, what recession".

    The evening's fireworks went ahead and were fantastic I must say; I'm a big kid when it comes to fireworks and love 'em.
