I couldn't find the original thread.
This lot is neatly lined up and full of household waste. It really is about time the council got tough on the perpetrators.

they have been tough, roger(the pit bull) walton at ddc has overseen dramatic results at the usual black spots.
the one pictured above is more difficult as it is nowhere near a house so there is little they can do as they don't know who dumped it.
incidentally i thought the orange bags were for business waste.

I'm really confused about this. London Road was much the same on Thursday, the normal collection day. A variety of bags were out, black, purple and various Tescos etc.
All were collected by 7.30. My point is, this was re-cycling week not rubbish. So what's going on ?
All the fuss about the right colour bags but they are taken away regardless.

they do take away anything thankfully as many choose not to follow the rules.
the top picture shows that recycling is not on everyone's agenda.

only unofficially terry they are in a no win situation - no doubt they will keep banging the drum about purple bags but we know that they collect anything.
dolphin passage is a prime example and there is a house near me that practically pours their rubbish on the pavement each friday, the stuff that does not blow away gets collected.

Looks like only tins in the clear bags, maybe the bin man put the bags there in advance of the lorry. In our road I have noticed one man walks up the road emptying the paper into his wheelie bin as he goes, I guess it saves time.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

My green food bin has been forgotten 3 times since it all started, no prob straight into the rubbish bin.
If they can't make an effort then why should I.
