I was down there yesterday afternoon Howard and sat outside the Funky in the sun. John Smith's was £1.50 a pint. I looked in Pier Three as the doors were wide open, it looks quite nice inside, must give it a go soon.
There was a bit of a fracas down there yesterday, I couldn't see much from where I was sat, lots of bods fighting and my mate saw some one being threatened with a hatchet, a dog involved as well. It only lasted a few minutes but it was more or less in front ot tourists waiting for the Cruise bus. Not a good advert for Dover. The Plod turned up about ten minutes later, I don't know the outcome as the bods had dispersed.
