  i think that gary is trying to get across the point that if anyone dares challenge the financing of the peoples port thingy they get patronised and told that the whole idea goes over their head and/or they are not clever enough to understand.
  
  i am with with him on that, interestingly enough the brain behind it(neil wiggins) does not take that attitude but tries to get his case across without being condescending.
