    says Nick Clegg who was on the Andrew Marr show a few minutes ago. He was of course speaking of David Cameron's disaster in Europe, finding himself isolated from the rest of the 26 EU countries.

    " We are turning our back on a market of 550 million people and 3 million peoples jobs here are dependent on this market" went on Clegg.

    "They can now legislate about the City without us even being there... so Cameron's veto gained us nothing....and those so called Bulldog MP's in his own party are spectacularly misguided!"

    So there you have it, the latest frantic thunderings from Coalition partner Nick Clegg.
    The government is in tatters.
