  And like has been said here and on the cyclists thread, the bigger picture is that when it comes to the antisocial behaviour that we all see day in and day out, that needs to be dealt with whenever a police officer sees it in order to engender a respect for the law.
  
  To say they might be on a different job is just a feeble and pathetic excuse for saying they can't be bothered.
