  Fairly harsh time for going without food or water with daylight stretching from before 5 am until after 9 pm.
  
  If we get a heatwave it must be dangerous to go without water for over 16 hours, not forgetting the players in the European Championships starting next week.

  43 degrees C (109F) here in Abu Dhabi today Howard, really tough on the poor Muslim labourers who are working out of doors.

  24 in the highlands we will be off soon my wife will not fly anymore so Spain trip is now not on it would cost less to go to Spain to. We could not go to Scotland if we had to pay the going rate for B&B.Nice to have good mates. I know nothing about Ramadam only to say good time to eat is night time when the weather is hot.But you should drink water and lots of it.

  At 43 degrees one would need plenty of water just sitting down let alone doing physical labour.

  But apart from all of those obviously exaggerated reports in the Captains link the " religion of peace " is not a problem and probably one that we should all be following for the good of mankind?
  Although we probably will, whether we like it or not, in a few years time!

  Read an article a couple of days ago about Muslims binging on Vimto once the sun goes down during Ramadam. Apparently the high sugar levels and strong flavouring give them a kick start. Vimto has massive sales in the Arab world and more sugar and flavouring is added to what they buy.
