  If you wondered why buses have replaced trains to Canterbury here's the answer.
  
  A piece of pointwork broke at Buckland Junction and was temporarily replaced by a straight piece of rail. If you look at the circle you will see a large gap in the Canterbury down line. Apparently it should have been replaced this weekend but as yet there's no sign of that happening.

  Might be done overnight or tomorrow. I suspect nearly all the workers are busy on the Ashford to Hastings line, I know my daughter's boyfriend is working a lot of overtime so they can get the job done as soon as possible.

  But they are excellent buses Peter, almost as clean and bright as Eastonways 593's!
