I'm fine thanks Tom. Thanks for referring to the bush as opposed to a stone which would have put a completely different complexion on your inquiry. I've been following, with greater interest than usual, the current state of things concerning all things energy and climate related. It's a hobby of mine, much like Barry's interest in the machinations of all things Tory, UKLP (United Kingdom liberal party) and labour.
As things stand things are looking particularly bleak on all fronts. What might be a game changer in terms of shale gas is nothing of the sort. It seems that even if fracking is successful in the UK it will not lead to lower bills as the government's carbon tax kicks in and penalizes the energy producers which in turn will penalize the bill payer and thus lead to the early deaths of some of our elderly. It will also lead to even more relative poverty up and down the country as families struggle to pay the rich for their filthy green alternative energy subsidies. A scandal which the mainstream media conveniently ignore.
Add that to Tim Yeo's attempt to make things even worse by insisting that the carbon targets set by government should be even bigger and that more of our money should be invested in crappy hippie energy. Of course we all know that the eco companies who pay him substantial amounts of money as their lobbyist would lose billions if government carbon targets are relaxed. Quite disgusting really and to think this "Man" is a cabinet minister.
Apart from that things are groovy. Can't wait to get Christmas out of the way. Seems to get worse year on year in terms of it's crassness but that's the way things are.
