It will lay there 13 days or be blown all over the place.

The mess is still there this morning and I find it hard to believe that whoever put that out has not had a pang of conscience about it.

Is that Clarendon Street Howard ?
As you know ('cos I emailed you) I sent an email to waste services about the rubbish/litter that was all over the place just up from the CAWCA Hall just before the election and I believe it was being picked up on election day.
Similarly, I managed to get a commitment from DDC to supply six waste-bins along the Folkestone Road and Elmsvale Road. As we know, waste bins can have bagged dog-poo placed in them, so that should be a double help - from waste and dog-poo.
Should I have shouted about it ?

Clarendon Street indeed Roger.
That explains the sudden return of the waste bin at the Folkestone Road bus stop between Belgrave Road and Underdown road after a 4 year absence. Cannot be too many waste bins, a former Council leader where I used to live got rid of many as they attracted rubbish!!

May be of been good if they did the combi ones so stuff can be recycled. Cans, plastic bottles and paper. Especially in the town and that they have to pay so much per tonne for landfill.

There's 3 new ones along Folkestone Road and 3 along Elmsvale Road.
These are litter bins Darren, not recycling bins; I haven't seen recycling bins along any streets in Dover, not in this ward anyway.

There is a large many compartmented one in Sandgate Road Folkestone. Problem is the writing and drawings are disappearing with age making it difficult to know what section to put one's stuff in.

Even if just one for the cans and plastic bottles would reduce waste and be a bit greener. Seems such a waste that so much is just discarded that could be reclaimed. Bottles and cans I use I usually take home so can be recycled.
