A gallon ??
Long way to go to fill up; I guess the difference can only be tax and too much tax is the millstone round our necks.

Barry has always said high tax is bad; this much tax on petrol and deisel cannot be good for transporting food and other stuff around.

High fuel costs in the haulage industry eventually result in higher costs in the shops.
I heard on the radio this morning that part of the problem is that oil is priced in US Dollars and the Sterling/Dollar exchange rate (being somewhat low at the moment) is as much to blame as duty rates! Not that that makes me feel any better about the price of petrol of course!

£1.33 for petrol and £138 for diesel at Morrisons in Canters., so if you get a 15pence voucher too, then that's worth going there - isn't it ?
