    Sheila, I don't agree with your analogy at all.

    We are talking about the cleaning and maintenance of toilets; the public would not be charged any more for them if the Town or District ran them. The difference is that the District Council rates are capped, the Town Council precept is not - same difference to the public, who I'm sure would want them to stay open.

    They were closed prematurely, especially as negotiations between DDC and DTC were on-going.
    Re-open them and continue talking.
