  David, it is the unemployment figures that are disingenuous:

  People may be in work but not the in the same way they were pre 2008. Seeing benefit fraud, immigration etc as the cause of our woes is to miss the elephant in the room.
  I would love an open, non-partisan discussion on this subject by the politicians but it just isn't going to happen as there are vested interests at play.
