    David, the thread develops in different ways but the number of unemployed is directly linked to the crash of 2008 and I see concerns about immigration rather than an Icelandic response of tackling the root cause. Equitable use of our existing resources would help alleviate the unemployment situation but is it really what government and business want just yet?
    Though you won't have detected it I have a deep cynicism of the powers that be whether they be political or multi-national corporation and I see manipulation of news agendas or the singling out of sectors of society as part of that problem.
