    Any society that says it cannot support the infirm, the sick and the elderly is one that has truly lost its moral compass. When we say that the vulnerable are worth less than others (i.e. those who work and so are economically productive and therefore of value to the economy) we know the measure of worth is belittled and distorted. And who would benefit most from distortion? Read the following for a plausible explanation:
