Last night I attended the meeting on What will happen to Dover after Brexit.
The concern was that the roads will become clogged up if we have all these checks.
It's fair to say the Govt appears not to be in control of the situation, and for any Dovorians(like me) It is a serious concern.
We are running out of time, and need answers as to what is to be done, to stop Dover coming to a standstill.
Hopefully the politicians locally will steer clear of party politics(as we saw one party flooding the meeting and promoting its parliamentary candidate) as this issue is far to important to play politics with.
Very good examples on how this Govt isn't prepared enough for changes,
There is an on line petition going to the govt
and to transportation board
and some KCC committee
It is an issue we should all be concerned on........
