G4S staff to help police investigations.Company in Olympics security fiasco are
recruiting in Warwickshire which has produced calls from two ministers Hammond and
Hunt to rethink use of private companies where public protection is paramount.
The people `recruited`will be carrying out investigations for a police force, with duties
that include house to house inquiries, giving evidence in court and undertaking
``sensitive high-profile cases under limited supervision !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
The news comes as two ministers said the G4S failings at the Olympics had caused
them to think again about how private contractors should be used.
The ``think again`` is reinforced by the use of a private company whose failure of
their Olympic contract was saved by using police forces and the army to carryout their
duties.....who will save them if they default again.????
If we need people to work on `sensitive high-profile cases it should be carried out by
fully intergrated police officers.
Policing should be for public protection, not for profit......
