Don't know about that personally, it was submitted in May 2010 and approved in Jan 2011 so before my time and comments have now been removed from the website - I was just a personal objector.

Minutes of the planning committee Jan 13 2011 -

RESOLVED: (a) That, subject to a planning obligation under S106 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 requiring the public house to be fully functioning prior to occupation of any of the new dwellings, Application No DOV/10/0488 (erection of four dwellings and construction of vehicular access, together with car-parking for the use of the public house) be granted as set out on pages 28-29 of the report to Committee on 9 December 2010.

No attempt has ever been made to comply with this condition.

I spoke about the existence of this in my 3 min before the planning committee but they ignored any discussion about it. (strange as we had been asked to wait in The Brave Room for over an hour while they discussed whether or not they could impose a 106 condition in a similar situation on another development that was brought forward on the agenda). I should add that Sue Nicholas and Roger Walkden were the only two members of the committee who recognised the situation and voted against residential conversion.
