Why can't DDC consider a little pragmatism in their approach? Why not just postpone the introduction of Sunday charging until sufficient time has passed to enable an accurate assessment to be made of the effects? The majority of public opinion appears to be against it, the scrutiny people are against it, opposition councillors are against it - why not allow the time necessary for the right strategy for the town to be ascertained? As usual with this local authority, the emphasis is much more on "authority" rather than "local".
