  Have to say I remember)discussion of a Crematorium mentioned in future local planning but the main emphasis was for a new Cemetery. Either way the shortage of either alternative is a major issue for Dover /Deal. Barham is at capacity & Environment Agency stopped extension to theCharlton Cemetery groupings, which would have been natural extensions. Elms Vale/ Hougham area was discarded I remember because of local resistance. If you live in Deal any location in Whitfield area reduces distance & pollution ( depending on location, even to Whitfield residents) . I doubt KCC would be thrilled to have their monopoly broken. So expect objections.
