Some debate has been had on here with regard to a clean up, and how this may happen, but part of roger's posting stated that he had put in for a grant for the works.
That did take me by surprize as when i left the forum it had a healthy balance of nearly a £1,000, and im unaware of projects that would have spent all that money.
Surely if you put in for a grant you would have to produce these accounts
and that you have aready secured gardening and clean up equipment?
Sheila was saying the forum holds all the gardening/clean up stuff in a shed, plus a very new disco equpment.
Maybe Roger and/or sheila could advise further?

I take exception to the implication made here - as good as saying that someone is being dishonest.
I accept that there was nearly or around £1000 in the PF account when you left Keith.
I'm not sure if it is 2 or 3 years since you left Keith, but each year, we have had our public liability insurance to pay and there was also a small sum for the web-site hosting and domain-name registration. We no longer support a web-site.
As the P.L. Insurance is over £200 each time, we have something over £600 in the bank; so we have been prudent and not wasteful at all.
The money we are applying for is to pay for the caged lorry to collect the fly-tipping and other waste and rubbish.
We are also asking for money to pay for 4 dog-poo bins - one at each end of the two alleys.
Whose shed are these gardening tools in ? I have some gloves somewhere in my garage, but as far as I am aware, it is just gloves.
All other cleaning equipment required for this clean-up are being supplied.
There is some electrical equipment that the Secretary is looking after; not sure how new it is though, I can't remember it being bought, but obviously it had been - sometime. The treasurer looks after the public address system.

ROGER;
If that is the case and you have some stuff being supplied that's good, i had offered to say im sure i have some of the orange sacks over from the fun days should you be happy to receive them and also the council be happy to collec them when full.
I'M sure sheila would advise further about the a shed, and she did paint a very different picture on the disco equipment.
There was no slur intended roger, didnt want you or p/f to fall foul when you put in for a grant.
my offer still stands
k

Thank you Keith.
I'm sure the caged vehicles will take away all rubbish - loose or in bags. I'll ask if there will be a need for your orange bags and if there is, thank to for giving them.
