  Just watched said program on itv, inspirational to say the least we have all moaned about the yoof of today, but could you do what some of the yoof have done. We can be justly proud of all of them that were honoured.

  Just finished showing on itv the daily mirror pride of brittain awards.For example a 32yr old girl who at thirteen was very poorly despite having recieved a heart and lung transplant liver transplant and kidney transplant is now a qualified doctor. A 12 year old girl who saved other childrens lives when they were on fire. To name but a few.

  I thought the most moving story was the policeman that was blinded by the shooting. His new charity seems a good idea, nobody injured in the line of duty should be worried about their finances while still in their hospital bed
  
  The bravest was another policeman who saved all those people from the burning bus, closely followed by the bomb disposal soldier.

  This is one programme I make sure I watch without fail, it is very humbling, and the heroic encounters amaze me with their show of inner strength, courage and they have no idea how much their actions at the time will impact on peoples lives. Truly amazing,
  
  Always have to have tissues at the ready and go through quite a lot as I did last night.
  
  I am sure that you will be able to watch it again on ITV replay for any of those that missed it
