scrapping of them is a big NO NO. The go to a centre place where they are used for spares etc.
If the old grey matter is working correct Box 3 Winchelsea road box was not a very busy one. 2-3 letters a day along with take away papers along side over things
. Removing of some box has been going on when I was there. Glad to be out of the business been going down hill for years.
The staff are not on the normal routes so you never know who your postperson will be.
Gone of the days of MORNING POSTMAN. They have to do a full route plus half of another in the same time. It is my understanding they have to tell the Manager before they go out if they think they can not get it done ?
