  I have often said the cafe on the PoW pier would do a roaring trade if a pony cart was available to take punters to and fro.

  Plus the ponies waste product could replace the councillors bullshi* currently used as feed on the non existant flower beds.

  taking alan's idea a step further, maybe visitors could be collected from the cruise terminal, given a tour of the prom and pier, then taken into town?

  Sounds a great idea Howard, maybe using the wild ponies from the heights, (if they are still there) Vic could be our 'Horse Whisperer' breaking them in for commercial use, in turn benefitting the tourist trade for Dover

  It would be nice to have something different on the sea front , tourists would love that kind of thing .
