    John, This is why you have professional advisers, people who understand these things and can advise you.

    Very few people understand their investments/pensions but seek professional advice. I cannot comment on your pension because I was not asked by anybody about it and do not have the facts, but it will be nothing like what that theif Maxwell did - the 1995 act prevents that.

    The very fact that you joined your pension scheme (rightly so) shows that you do put your money into things in which you do not understand the 'itty gritty'. Of course I may be wrong and you might be Level 4 qualified in Financial Services, if so quite why you work for the railway is a mystery....
