Has an email at work saying:
PORT OF CALAIS TEMPORARILY CLOSED SUNDAY 7TH JUNE
We have been notified that due to the defusing and disposal of 2 unexploded 2nd WW bombs, the Port of Calais will be temporarily closed between 06:00hrs and 14:30hrs
During these times the main access to Calais Port (Rocade), Freight lanes, UKBF & PAF will be closed.
Dover - Calais traffic can still travel - discharge will be diverted via the town (Tourist & Freight)
Calais - Dover traffic will be suspended for this time.
Calais - Dover Freight traffic will be held on the motorway Exit A16 (French TAP).
Whilst Eurotunnel advises they will be putting on extra shuttles, be aware that freight vehicles will not be able to park at the terminal.
Be prepared for Operation Stack in Kent if traffic volumes warrant it, and also Dover TAP. Although it is hoped that by doing this disposal on a Sunday, it will cause the least amount of disruption to traffic in the area.
During this time, drivers should not make themselves vulnerable to clandestine entry to vehicles and not park too close to Calais.
